We hear about it all the time, but most people don’t know what they are or how to ask the right questions to ask about them. On October 15th from 10AM to 2PM Rosa’s Food Pantry, located at 103 Commerce Street, will have a professional speak about Medicare and Medicaid. We will also have smoothie samples, a vote riders representative to help people get registered to vote, and a representative from Girl Scouts that wants to start a troop in Hawkinsville. We will also have LOTS of fresh produce from Twin Oaks farms to give out to attendees, (collards, okra, tomatoes, eggplants, etc.). Lastly, we will be signing people up for our 6-month weight loss challenge with a grand prize. See you there!\n
