DESCRIPTION:\n\nJoin the Hawkinsville-Pulaski County Chamber & Downtown Hawkinsville’s Main Street Program for our 2024 annual holiday events, starting with the Main Street Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 30, at 1 PM in celebration of Small Business Saturday.\nThis year’s Lighted Christmas Parade theme is 12 Days of Christmas.\nThe festivities will include:\n\nMain Street Holiday Open House at 1-5 PM\nMerry Move & Groove at 80 Commerce Street Park (The Green Space)- 1:00 PM\nPictures with Santa at the Opera House 2:30-5 PM\nParade Line Up & Check In 2:30-5 PM\nCommunity Tree Lighting 5 PM\nLighted Christmas Parade at 5:30 PM\n\nSIGN UP FOR THE PARADE: Hawkinsville’s Lighted Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting ( https://hawkinsvillechamber.org/calendar-2/#!event/2024/11/30/hawkinsville-apos-s-lighted-christmas-parade )\nFor more information, please contact us at (478) 783-1717 or by email at info@hawkinsvillechamber.org.\nPlease note: There is a nominal $25 fee for parade participants and training is required. Special $20 early-bird pricing will last until October 16, 2024. \nFloat entries are always encouraged as it makes the parade bigger and better. Only floats will be judged. A float is classified as a truck pulling a trailer or flatbed. Float decorations and parade float kits may be purchased at any place the entrant sees fit (like Oriental Trading Company).\nEach entry is to represent the Parade Theme, “12 Day’s of Christmas” in a creative way. This your opportunity to have fun and create something unique and special.\nTo ensure excellence in presentation and efficiency in coordination, placement within the parade lineup is at the discretion of the Christmas Parade Committee. Line up begins at 2:30 pm. Judging will take place in front of the courthouse as you pass by.\nYou must be present and on time to be considered for judging and awards.
