Georgia’s corporate income tax rate is 5.39%, with a single-factor apportionment formula based solely on sales within the state, significantly reducing the tax burden for companies with customers outside Georgia.

PROPERTY TAX

Property taxes are levied by:

  • City of Hawkinsville
  • Pulaski County
  • Pulaski County School District

Properties are assessed at 40% of fair market value, and tax rates remain stable year-to-year. Property tax abatement is considered on a case-by-case basis.

SALES TAX

Sales tax in Pulaski County is 8% (4% state + 4% local).
