Advanced voting for the Public Service Commission Special Election will be held Tuesday October 14, 2025- Friday October 31, 2025 at the Pulaski County Courthouse Annex. Voting hours will be 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Saturday voting will be October 18 and October 25
9:00 am- 5:00 pm
Applications for Absentee by Mail must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by 5:00 PM on October 24, 2025.
Election Day will be November 4, 2025 at the Pulaski County Courthouse Annex. Voting hours will be 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Planning & Zoning Commission Propose Land Use Regulation Ordinance Amendment
The Planning Commission of the City of Hawkinsville will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference room, located at 56 Broad Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036, to consider the following matters:
A proposed amendment to the City’s “Unified Land Development Regulations” ordinance Appendix A in the following Article; Divisions; and Sections:
- Article II; Division 6; Section 2.6.1
- Article VII; Division 3; Section 7.3.2
- Conditional Use Permit request by Tashua Taylor for parcel ID H0310010004.
At the hearing, public comments will be heard on the matter; thereafter, the Commission will make recommendations to the City Commission on each item.
The City of Hawkinsville Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 56 Broad Street, to consider the above matters.

City of Hawkinsville Request for Proposals for Audit Services
The City of Hawkinsville, Georgia is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants having sufficient governmental accounting and auditing experience to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, and the 2026 and 2027 fiscal years thereafter, with the option of auditing its financial statements for subsequent fiscal years (Section I, B for Term of Engagement).
