The Planning Commission of the City of Hawkinsville will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference room, located at 56 Broad Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036, to consider the following matters:

A proposed amendment to the City’s “Unified Land Development Regulations” ordinance Appendix A in the following Article; Divisions; and Sections:

• Article VII; Division 3; Section 7.3.1(b)
• Rezoning request by Jimarcus Powell for Parcel ID H0220030007 from B1: City Business to B2: City Business

At the hearing, public comments will be heard on the matter; thereafter, the Commission will make recommendations to the City Commission on each item.

The City of Hawkinsville Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 56 Broad Street, to consider the above matters.
