General Primary Nonpartisan General Election – May 19, 2026

Advanced voting for the General Primary Nonpartisan General will be held Monday April 27, 2026- Friday May 15, 2026 at the Pulaski County Courthouse Annex. Voting hours will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Saturday voting will be May 2 and May 9 9:00 am- 5:00 pm
Applications for Absentee by Mail must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by 5:00 pm on May 8, 2026.
Election Day will be May 19, 2026 at the Pulaski County Courthouse Annex. Voting hours will be 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to O.C.G.A 21-2-379.25; notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing on the voting equipment to be used in the May 19, 2026 General Primary Nonpartisan General and for Advance in Person Voting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on April 16, 2026 until completed. The testing will be at the Pulaski County Courthouse Annex, 45 South Lumpkin Street, Hawkinsville, GA. The test procedure is open to the public.

The Hawkinsville Downtown Development Authority (“DDA”) is seeking qualified and visionary development teams to submit proposals for the purchase and redevelopment of the River Market property, a historic industrial building located at the corner of Broad Street and Houston Street in downtown Hawkinsville, Georgia.
This RFP offers a unique opportunity to acquire and adaptively reuse a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse-style structure on 0.71 acres in one of the community’s most historically significant districts. The DDA intends to select a development partner whose proposal aligns with the Authority’s mission to promote economic vitality, enhance downtown aesthetics, support adaptive reuse, and preserve Hawkinsville’s rich industrial heritage.
The Hawkinsville Downtown Development Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any technicalities and informalities and re-advertise. The Hawkinsville Downtown Development Authority further reserves the right to award this proposal in whole or in part.
